Just thought I'd write about the very few things that happened recently that is not an everyday occurence.
My significant other and I watched 2012 yesterday and I cried my eyeballs out. He kept telling me that its just a movie and attempted to reassure me that the world is not coming to an end. I'm upset because my family is on the other side of the planet and even if the apocalypse is not happening tomorrow, I would still like to be close to my family. Needless to say, I'm glad we stumbled upon the free movie online and I didn't have to walk out of a cinema with my red eyes and nose.
We went out for a Korean buffet lunch today. It's about $9 per person and its quite yummy. Woomi Garden in Wheaton has rather good service. The buffet spread was not extensive but it suffice for the rate that they charge. I was in line getting some Kalbi when two older korean women suddenly came right up to me, one on each side. I saw them out of the corner of my eyes but didn't think much of it. After like two seconds, I could feel them breathing down my neck! It wasn't a comfortable arrangement for me. I quickly put down the serving spoon and walked away. I only got two pieces of Kalbi :(
On the way back from lunch at Woomi's, Puff Daddy's featuring Faith Evans "I'll be missing you" started playing on the radio. My significant other proceeded to tell me that Puff Daddy starting rapping because BIG encouraged him. My mind then proceeded to think about different individuals that has passed my life that has made an impact on me. All the reminiscing brought tears to my eyes. RIP Mr Chew and Mr Khoo..You are greatly missed and will always be thought of fondly..
So we got back home and I was going through my violin pieces when I heard sirens on the street below. Its not unusual to hear sirens where our apartment is but I stopped what I was doing as I wouldn't be able to hear what I was playing anyway. The fire engines were racing down the street and stopped right in front of out building. I was wondering what was going as I didn't see anything across the street and the fire alarm in our building was going off. I continued to watch with fascination and through my observation(;P), it was the house across the street was in need of help. I did not see any flames but there lots of smoke coming out of the top floor window. The ladders came out, windows were smashed and water everywhere...I still didn't see any flames..just smoke..

Snow!!! :D
It's snowing today! I was wondering just the other day if it does snow here in DC and lo and behold, it snows today. Its wet and slippery and cold and I am in a terrific mood because of it. I'm all smiles right now. But I can't give all the credit to the snow as there was another incident that tickled me so much today as well.
I was at work as usual at the gym today. And there was a little boy whom I shall call Z (to protect the little two year old's privacy :p). Z is now picking up words and learning to speak more. We have a set of food toys which includes cutleries and dishes. Z was playing with the usual tomatoes, cheese, ham/baloney, lettuce and bread. He put together a sandwich and he brought it over to me together with a fork and a knife. Z placed the sandwich in front of me and passed me the utensils while saying,' fuck, fuck'. Z was trying to say fork and he hasn't grasp the proper pronunciation yet. That totally tickled me and I've been smiling ever since. Z is a wonderful kid. I am always amaze by them as they learn to say new words.
Happy happy joy joy!

Personal opinions...
Good morning world :)
Its really pretty outside today. The sun is shining and there are no dark clouds looming in the sky as it was yesterday. It was raining all day yesterday so we didn't go out. We are planning to visit the Lincoln Memorial later today (once we actually get out of bed and get our pretty behinds out of the door!)
I name this post as 'Personal Opinions' because Jay read it and said,'You sure are defensive in your 1st paragraph.' I personally do not think so. I was just typing and writing as thoughts were fleeting around in my head. So I have nothing to apologize for and I think I'm perfectly normal and this is my blog so I can write whatever I want! So if anyone has an opinion, go and start your own blog! buakakakaka :P (and now I think I should get a slap on the back of my head Leroy Jethro style for my obviously 'lack' of defensiveness skills)
Enough of my ranting and more action now. I'm going to go do some touristy stuff. :D

Starting Out...
I've never blogged before in my life. I did want to start writing a blog quite a long time ago but I didn't follow through. If anyone sees this blog and doesn't believe me, try typing in the xanga.com/estahcy and you'll believe me when you see no posts whatsoever. This will be a trial run for myself to see if I do blog continuously or not.
There are many blogs out there and I do read them quite frequently. I usually like the humorous ones or at least the ones on the wittier side. Most blogs have a theme to them, but I have yet to come up with something right now that I need to dedicate a whole blog to it. So right now, it's just going to be random things that I find intriguing.
Wish me luck! :)
